About Salah Greyha

Salahudheen Thanikkat, known professionally as Salah Greyha, is a contemporary artist, architecture designer, and 3D visualiser based in Bangalore, India.

His journey with art began during childhood, when painting became a natural form of expression and a lasting passion. Born in Kerala, Salah later moved to Bangalore, where he established GREYHA, his creative studio at Gopasandra Gate.

With a Diploma in Fine Arts, Salah has developed his artistic practice through years of exploring colour, form, texture, composition, and contemporary visual expression. His background in architecture and 3D visualisation also influences his approach to art, giving his work a distinctive understanding of space, balance, proportion, and visual harmony.

At GREYHA, Salah creates original handmade paintings and commissioned artworks, with each piece individually painted and developed with attention to detail. His work ranges from contemporary abstract compositions to expressive, concept-driven artworks created for individual collectors, homes, and interior spaces.

Today, Salah's paintings are collected by clients in India and across the world. Through GREYHA, he continues to create original artworks that bring together his lifelong passion for painting, his design experience, and his personal artistic vision.

ValuesWhat the studio stands for

Three quiet rules

I

One of one, always

No prints, no editions, no reproductions. When a Greyha painting sells, it exists in exactly one home on earth.

II

Earth before trend

Sepia, charcoal, umber, bone — a palette drawn from Rajasthani soil and stone, chosen to outlive fashion.

III

The hand stays visible

Drips, knife ridges and pencil ghosts are left in the surface. A painting should remember being made.
